Noemie grew up in a small coastal town in New Brunswick, Canada, never far from the ocean. Since childhood, she has been torn between two dreams: becoming a doctor and illustrating children’s books—and eventually chose both. Today she balances her life as a rheumatologist with her work in her home studio, where she draws and paints with her three kids often playing (or “helping”) nearby, and her cat supervising from a safe distance. She works both digitally and traditionally, creating engaging illustrations, usually with a funny twist!
